Ways to Get Help

The Tulsa Area United Way has a great portfolio of information regarding ways to access help in this time of need. Even if you have never sought welfare resources before (and are not already in a nonprofit’s database of clients), there are organizations in Tulsa ready to serve you. Access the website here

No one should go hungry in the wake of the changes in our community. Locations giving free meals to children are mapped at https://meals4kidsok.org/. Other locations for feeding the adult population can be found on the TAUW link above.

Coronavirus-specific information that helps immigrant and undocumented populations is somewhat hard to find. “Immigrants rising” is a California based organization that has put together a document of resources. Some of its content is specific to California, but other parts are helpful no matter where you live.
